Post subject:  Blower not working
I have a Suzuki Baleno and the blower is not working, does anyone know if the blower has a fuse in the dash fuse box or in the engine bay?

I had a look today and couldn't see a spot for the blower and there are no blown fuses.

The Baleno setup is simular to my Vitara layout and I couldn't find any reference to a blower/fan fuse with the Vit.

If the blower is not working is it a complete blower replacement?

:lol: Not a engine blower, it is the blower unit for the heater unit.

;) make sure you check all your fuses, pull them all out check them, and there might be more then one fuse box.

i'd say the blower control resistors are gone.

OK, so can you replace just the blower control resistors or are they part of the blower?

does it work on the highest setting??
If it does it's the resistor block, if not I doubt it is..
Find the fan & give it a lil tap with the switch on full, if it goes again, get a new fan..

are you sure it's not a fuse.....


the resistors "should" be replaceable... if not you should be able to cobble something up using various resistors from Jaycar.

No doesn't work at the highest setting, will give it a bit of a tap and see what happens.

I can't find any reference to a fuse for the Blower/Fan/Heater on the fuse cover inside the car or in the engine bay fuse cover.

All the fuses are ok and none blown.

X2 turn it on, and see if you have power to the fan. if not follow the wire back to the switch, and see if you have power there. If no power at the switch check fuse. I know you can't find a reference, maybe it is shared with another fuse?


Check all your fuses in any box you can find. I do this when I can not identify fuse locations. I have also accidentaly gotten other things to work by replacing fuses i did not know were blown, till i went looking :)
