My fav trick of mine depending on the size of the screw is to use a dremel, put 1 slot straight across the screw head and unscrew with a flat head driver.

3x

I use a 1mm cutting disc in an angle grinder and a BFO flat blade screwy. I have one with a square shaft that you can put a shifter on. Works well.

recently took off my doors, and want33s method works perfect. either way you need new screws.

You've rooted the head, so just tack weld a nut onto the head and take it out with a socket.

Hanner and cold chissel. works everytime. doesnt always leave everything intact but the screw/bolt comes out

99% of screws removed by the method I detailed in the link are reusable.
No need to butcher them, you only need to crack it then undo with a large phillips.

I had a screw i had get out on Friday> It was a screw going though 2 real thin peaces of sheet metal, the head of the screw was fine but the thread was stuff just behind the head of the screw and it was just spinning, so got a old screw driver hit the head of the screw to bend it then it gripped and i got it out. :D
