anyone know anything about the rwd f20c engine from the s2000 honda
seems like it would be a prime candidate for an engine swap.
being a new honda i assume an engine and gbox cut would be damn expensive as well as parts.

Like you said, they're not cheap. Waste of $ in a zook IMO!

i prefer oddball pioneering when it comes to car conversions doing things that have been done before represent no challenge and provide little wtf factor. The only half cuts i can find range from 6-8k :(

maybe its time to start saving

It has been done in the states.. Epic wireing.

And id be worried about torque.. s2000 owners are always complaing at the lack of it. I dont see this as something been able to be tuned out. Since there desigend for topend power.

I can hear driveline explosions a mile of with this one.

But how freakin awsome would it be! The sound of that puppy winding up would be very nice!

blacktop 20v 4age would be my pic, with a rotary following very close behind. I started doing a little research into these for my old ae71.. wiring wise they where way outa my depth so i binned it.

plus lots of little headaches like the exhaust is on the wrong side... easier options with the same result ;)

they are an awesome engine. Like you said though, not cheap. Power down low would be fine for a zuk and as soon as it's reving hard they really pull. People with west fields and clubmans etc mostly always choose one of these over the 20v 4age if they have the choice between the two, just because they are a newer more tunable engine, the only downfall is they are hard to find and cost alot.

If all you want to do make things hard for yourself then how about a Toyo 2azfe (from late model Camry/Rav4/Kluger). All alloy, 2.4 litre, 150hp. It'd be a lot easier to find and shit-tins cheaper than a F20.

are those things rwd ? high output n/a 4 bangers are few and far between but it might be a much cheaper option :o

All FWD/AWD as far as I know. No biggie, just adapt a 5 speed from something else.
