I have run the 1.3 radiator with 1.6 efi for about 2 1/2 years with no problems, the motor actually runs cool, about 78 degress C. |

No, just the clutch fan on the 1.6 engine. About 173. |

A good condition 1.3 Radiator should keep the 1.6 cool. I run a SPAL thermofan, and mine stays cool even under heavy load. |

I've had mine fully submerged in Salt water (in an estuary 10m from the open ocean) and it still hammers along. Also have two fitted to my PWR radiator. My mates have atleast 4 of them fitted to their shooting buggies out west that are subjected to 45+ degree days and bulldust that is so thick you could cut the air with a knife. No failures yet. Perhaps you got some dodgy ones |

I'm not a fan of thermo fans where there is a viable engine fan available, but if you have to have a thermo, SPAL are the very best. I can confirm that a 1.3 radiator will cool an efi 1.6 fine. Make sure everything is in good nick and use the viscous fan from the Vitara, not the fixed sierra fan. Steve. |

Steve. Yep no issues at all with the vit clutch fan (has an extra blade compared to the 1.3) and 1.3 rad shroud |
