hey guys this has probley been covered but yer. just wondering what mods i should to to make it easer for driving in mud and sand and towing a boat. not so if it has a lift all ready been told it has but dose not look i it to me. what do u guys recon here r some pic's and what recovery gear should i get when i had my old one just used chains and a tractor

Atari's Build is great for mod's, there are a few on here. Im personally getting a Calmini 3" Kit which replaces the front arms, diff drop, trailing arms etc... but it depends on what you wanna do. Alteredego also make a 4 1/2" kit for them too. Also depends on your budget. As for recovery gear. Snatch strap, Chains, Winch, should sought you out |

Welcome to AZ, pretty sure that vit was forsale on bootscooting.com? Looks good, how does it go with the 4age in it? BCF have got a new range of recovery gear out & their XTM 5000kg snatch strap is perfect for the Suzuki's, grab a pair of rated shackles & a long handled shovel & you will be set for most recovery situations as long as there is another vehicle to attach the strap to... that isn't also bogged. Mod's are pretty much endless... I would first look at replacing the POD filter with an airbox & panel filter, the pod's are good for street cars but not ideal when exposed to mud & crap off road. Have a look at a few of the Vitara build ups on here but with the set up you've currently got, it will be fine for beach use etc. |

yer it was on boost. would it be better to relocate the water thing and battery to the other side.then also i can put a snorkel on it  do use know what shops stock Calmini products? had a look on their site and they got the bullbar i want aswell and rear bar

do use know what shops stock Calmini products? had a look on their site and they got the bullbar i want aswell and rear barDeal direct with Calmini. Otherwise you will pay double and wait forever. |

Bullbar freight won't be pleasant... The snorkels for that body shape come out the passenger side quarter panel, so you'd need to plumb the intake over to the other side. Welcome to AZ anyhoo! |

you could see if an airbox out of an SV series vitara fits and then buy the snorkel for one of those models as it is a drivers side fit. you will probably find shipping a bullbar from the states VERY expensive as they take up a large volume. |

Distance of travel not so much of an issue, but the intake air passing directly over the hottest part of the engine bay wouldn't be ideal (the colder the intake air the better.) You'd want to insulate the f*ck out of it and keep it up front near the fan I'd think. Adapting an SV airbox and using a drivers side snork might work, but the fitment to the body and A-pillar wouldn't be quite as neat. Might be worth a look though. |
