na, i've got the same thing, but whereas the baleno engine has a thermostat housing, the vitara engine only has something that looks like a thermostat housing but doesnt house a thermostat. well i don't think it would |

The Baleno/Swift has a hose outlet bolted to a thermostat body that bolts to the head, while the Vit (which has the thermostat in the Inlet Manifold) only has a hose outlet. Both of them mate to the head using the same gasket, 17699-60B01, so I would say they're interchangable. |

i think i remember reading somewhere of someone making a 90 degree dizzy drive like the vitara has. not sure if that was for the g13bb or the g16b baleno |
