got some 31x10.5R15 muddies today for my sierra. they're on 15x8 rims with a -23 offset. 2" spring lift. will they go on with some guard massaging? or will the body lift need to come sooner?

Lots of massaging and a body lift in the near future

They will fit with no guard work (to speak of) if you fit a 2" BL.

Without a BL, yes, there will be guard work on the front.

Very little inner guard work required. Mainly folding of the seams.

Yep that's what I thought. Fold the seams. Not going to take it bush until I get the body lift in. Just to be safe. Just wondering if I'll be able to drive it around.

Downwards, so no mud & shit will not get stuck in there causing rust..

where did you go to get them tyres mate?

Tyrepower Gateshead (Newcastle, NSW). Great bunch of guys, 4wd dedicated tyre shop so they have a good range. Great help, good price. I believe they do fit on 7" but I am not 100%.

Those tyres are recommended for 7 - 9 inch wheels

The main seem you need to found is on the fire wall running up the wall, just BFH it, theres also one running across fold that down.

Cleanest and easiest method of clearing big tyres is a BL however you can do a virtual lift if you are good with panels and bodywork. Me, the most bodywork I do is with the back of an axe or a lump of wood.

This is good news, because with 2" spring and 2" bodylift, I won't have to do bugger all to run 31's!

Well, aside from getting new rims that will actually balance up...

Yeah, they definitely fit with a body lift. I've just gotta get the coin for one. And I pick up the tyres today and want them on now!!

BFW!

BFH, and possible bumps stop extension.

I have ~2" suspension lift, had to do the seams, +25mm bumpstops and 31x10.5R15 on 7" wide rims.
I also have narrow track spacing and am quite narrow overall, helps me keep up with the 35" guys as I can grab the inside of the ruts while they sit in them.

My 31's fit on with no more than extended shackles, They do scrub on the leaf packs on full lock though.

Mmm.. Not a huge fan on extended shackles as I want lots of flex.

They are not ideal (you can see them tyring to twist when flexed up) but it's not a daily driver. and I'm only running standard Rear leaves all round at the moment.
