Post subject:  Swapping my front suspension and putting it in the rear

The front of my 1984 suzuki sierra has been lifted but the rear hasnt ( i brought it that way). atm i have 31 inch A/Ts on the rear that i got from a mate and the 28s on the front that it came with to even out the lifted front but it has to go for a road worthy test soon so i cant have the two different sizes tyres on and i was wondering if i could put the front leafs on the rear and vice versa becuase the departure angle is worse then the approach angle even if the front wasnt lifted thanks to a aftermarket bull bar. Is this possible?

yes you could but it seems to me that this is a long painfull job that could be simplified greatly by getting two springs for the back and doing the job properly and then you will have a car that is far more capable than if you du as you say you also have to remember that the front springs are 3" shorter than the back springs best is to do the job properly first time.

You can't use the front spring in the rear because they are shorter. They would also move the diff 40mm or there abouts
Do it right and buy some lifted rear springs and get the same size tyres. Running different sized tyres will bind the transfer case I you were to out it in 4wd

cheers guys i have already slapped the 28s back on becuase i got the full set of 31s and they scrub so im waiting until i get it road worthy then lifting the rear by 2 inchs and the front by anouther one inch it wont solve the scrubbing issues with the front of the zook but i will learn to live with it
