Hey there ppl, im new to this website and to the suzi world but was just wondering if anyone could help me with some advice on a conversion for a:

Sierra sj40 1984 1 litre 4spd.

Want some more power from her, .
Can i buy a 1.3 or 1.6 with 5 spd box and bolt it straight in?

Also what suspension do you run on the suzi's? Mines just standard and its rough as so was looking to upgrade.

1 last question, does anyone have the switch mechanism that the lights, indicators and wipers come from? Or where i can get one? Need the whole thing, headlights have gone, . Only got flash highbeam and parkers. Have to be home by dark. lol.

For some info and differences about your 1L to the 1.3, few details on the engine conversion from 1L to 1.3 etc http://www.auszookers.com/index.php?nam ... ic&t=19172

Standard is rough. And lifted 2" is probably the most common, but it is also rough due to stiffer springs and shocks. Alot of people like ome(arb), i have never ran them though.

With the combination switch, better off asking in 'i want i want i want' Its a wanted thread where people can go, "oh i have this and you can have it for xx !" Or look in the "Getting rid of stuff" section. Want33's will probably have one 2nd hand.

Long posts are good, as long as there is a good info in the questions.

There is alot of info on here already, searching helps alot.

suziworld in Heidleberg is a zook wrecker, or
I have one, if you mean the switches and stalks on steering column.
It came off a 1.0 litre Sierra, was working when I drove it last.
But are you sure thats the issue.
