just seeking some info on the trail slayer 4 link coil setup on www.lowrangeoffroad.com
i have a 94 stockman tray back, the kit extends the wheel base to 100'', but is that from a swb? will it be able to fit the stockman? (or could it be modified to fit)
it runs with the use of hilux diffs and can be used with massive tyres (if the guards a gone)
i plan on only running with 32 or 33'' tires, a disc brake rear and a transfer mounted hand brake. do you think an engineer would likely approve this, they way i want it setup, it should only raise the vehicles suspension 3 inches from standard, i cant call LR at the moment as i only have access to a sat phone.
also does anyone have any easier ways of coiling a stockman, i like the trail slayer kit as its off the shelf and minimal work to fab up.
any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes from swb I think
Lwb is already at 95inch wheelbase
You will have to refab all the chassis extensions you get with the kit
A engineer to past you on chassis extension.
IMO it's a waist of money and no gain
Will cost you way over 4k to get the kit here
Much much cheaper to do a well built 3 or 4 link.
move you front diff forward and the rear backwards to gain that extra wheelbase

My Lwb was 93" Measured with my own eyes. Had to with the stuff im going through for my 3link/4link

Now will have 96" wheelbase.

Same. Standard was 93.5". Now 96.5".

I did have it at 99" but it created too many clearance issues up front

The trailslayer may work, but for trails.

Top and bottom chassis mounts will have to be modified. Lwb chassis, the rear half is different to a swb.

I have no idea about NT regulations. Every state is different, although have heard NT is pretty easy going. (shep)

Lux rear may give issues due to vibrations from the tailshaft not lining up with the sierra transfer. If you went vit box, vit transfer, it will be ok. Vit rear output is central. Bundera's have the centre offset that will suit the sierra transfer. Pretty much same as lux. axle tubing is slightly bigger.

Disc rear is easy. Even with handbrake on the calipers, depending on local parts.

We have some engineers doing 33's max sizing here atm with lux diffs because of new NSW rules coming in.. Some will still do 35's. Mine is planned for 35's.
Sierra diffs can be beefed up for 33's. But if your unsure where the future is heading, bigger etc, go toy diffs if your not a suzuki purist.

Ideal:
Lux front diff (can be easily upgraded off the shelf with axles if needed, as Bundera's cant, slightly different lengths)
Bundera rear diff.
33's+
Gearing to suit will be needed.

Well yeah, anything of that range is possible. Both are wider.

But both of them have large centres, just depends on what 70', some have small fronts (dont know exact models, coil front only?)

There is a plus with crusier diffs, full floating axles. blow a centre, pull the axles out with the tailshaft and get home. Can't do that with lux or bundera rear. (not that you will, look at the actual size compared to sierra's, but you never know.)

Yeah im not too worried about clearence. Will be on 35's. If i was, id be shaving the pumpkins

There is alot of threads to look into and research. Along with gwagens ramblings.
Finding a link calculator is the best bet. Then finding out what your measurements are on what you can play with. I wanted mine full flat belly, but not overly long links, so my links and mounts were calculated to be just that. Its alot to get your head around.

acknowledge the trail slayer kit is expensive,
i will look into it more, LR also have a replica hilux diff with an offset center, (same as bundera) its some thing i really want to do, coil overs on hilux diffs on a stocman. i cant find anything on the web that has a dummies guide or in depth build thread of it.
got a few other carzy ideas for it as well, will be pretty sweet once i get it done.
