Post subject:  is this engine suitable for rebuild?

hi all, my sierras current engine is getting very long in the tooth, and im looking to replaced it. i am looking to keep the 1.3
after no luck finding a suitable motor i scored a unknown condition motor for a carton of piss. i just removed the head and found a bit of water in the 2nd and 3rd cilinder (from being out in weather) so my question is this block to far gone? thanks

Looks good to me, especially if it's standard bore.

Looks alright to me
If it's standard bore size, just clean the block up nd get it bored to 20 thou over and get new pistons to match

i can see a little bit of pitting on one or two of the cylinders, would this mean it is best to clean it up (degrease it like crazy) myself then take it to someone that can give it a final proper clean and bore it out a little?

and should i be getting the head re skimmed?

also were is the best place to buy a rebuild kit for the g13?

this is (obviously) my first engine rebuild :D
