Post subject:  Radiator upgrade for sierra

Hey guys, just having a few problems with my 20 yr old standard radiator in my 91 sierra and was wondering what u guys use as an improved replacement. Aftermarket, vitara, jimny. ive herd of a couple of options but was wondering what u guys now have sitting in ur chassis rails to keep the ol 4 pot cool? cheers guys any advise would be awsome :D

Alloy ones seem to be popular. Custom/mass produced. I hvent seen anyone pay more than $250 for one yet.

I run one of the alloy core units that I sell in front of my G16B (in Sierra) without any dramas... Several others do too. It'll handle your 1.3 easily.
$230 to your door.

i run a vit rad, it's the bigger of the two and it just fit's between my chassis rails.... i've never seen my car get hot.... except when i went into town without a rad fan :lol:

With a std box, I don't know how you got a p/s box in there to, that's the reason I still have a 1.3 rad, the vit's to wide..

The cressida box is exactly the same width as a sierra box..... and thats why i didn't use a vit box.....
