Thanks I thought that may be the case. The guy up here that does the pink slip would turn a blind eye but I have to get a blue slip.

Blue slip doesn't involve Emissions testing.

That true, i dunno if the webber changes the tone of the zook, but i know if its louder than usual they might be a bit sus about it.

but it most likey requires the emmissions gear to be connected , inc hot box etc

look to be frank. i had my Vit blueslipped. they started it, took it for a run round the block, jumped underneath looked for leaks. then just checked the numbers, i have a 2" system right the way through ( cat is still there ) but they weren't interested in anything else... not sure if i just went to the right guy or what... but they really just wanted the 40 odd dollars...

its the EPA you have to worry about. the engine will comply with federal laws. changing of a carby for an 80's model vehicle such as a sierra would deem the engine not to comply with adr's.........so no....not really legal.











and they are friggin shit.
