hi guys, went for a drive with some mates tonite, did a bit of creek crossing stuff... just wondering how you guys are sealing your handbrakes from letting any water into the cabin? mine pisses through like theres no tomorow... unless i'm missing a rubber of some sort maybe?

Thats the least of my worries, normally its coming through the doors and softtop...

I just remove the floor bungs and let the water out once I've gone through ;)

i have my floor plugs out in winter so i sink... if i leave them in the water doesnt come in fast enough and i float off the line i was on and lose momentum... lol

There is a plate that bolts to the floor, this is what your lever is hinged on. Between that plate and the body should be a rubber seal, if that's missing it will most likely let in water like you describe.

true... so looks like i'm missing the rubber seal then.. as when i'm under the car i can see daylight through the handbrake lever mechanism quite easily...thanks for clearing that up :)
