My Calmini bash plates are in need of a recoating, what options are there, I can get them galvenized but them they would be bright silver. Powdercoating would be a waste of time. |

Galvanize them, then paint them in your chosen colour |

What's wrong with rattle can's?? Cheap, easy to touch up ( cause they will need it) & they are under the car, so don't have to be show car quality.. |

no galvanising is a hot dip process and zinc plating is an elecroplating process, zinc can also be had in several metalic colors ie gold , silver and a blueish color. hot dip gal is far superior in terms of corrosion protection |

Gal or zinc needs special primer before you paint. looks sexy with the zinc plating though! |

after 5 years there is barely a gouge in those plates... does it even get used off road? |

only time i've ever seen it off road was that trip to LCMP years ago. |
