will this U bracket thing be stopping my leaves at a certain point?

flex it as far as you can and see
you can always remove the bolt, the uprights are there to stop your leaves slipping and twisting I think

Technically, yes, at some point they will limit your springs ability to bend further then that top bolt, the question is whether you ever actually bend your springs that much...
and if you did, considering how high that bolt is, it might not be a good thing for your springs life if they do bend any further...

if u have long enough shocks then some times yes,
some cars just wont flex enough for that to happen, tho our budget 40 series at work flexs that much tht we have had to un do them,
text it and see,

if you talking about the upwards facing bracket on the spring, no, no it won't.
