just lik cutting a tin top down to make it a softie won't work because the soft tops more additional braces to keep em ridged.... |

Sure it wasn't a Tare weight of 950kg? Otherwise, you wouldn't have been able to put a driver in it, let alone anything else! |

880kg tare 1340kg GVM dont now how true this was ... Tare weights are often quoted as "dry weight" so add a tank of fuel, oils, coolant etc and you get closer to the true unladen weight of the vehicle... |

You guys are doing it wrong. I've cut the roof off a hardtop before and it would be lucky to weigh 30kg incl. half the c-pillars. |

Reason why im bringing this up is that the aftermarket springs and loading seem to change weather you have a steel bar, winch etc etc, but no differences between soft and hardtop zuk. Since owning now both hard and soft tops I have noticed quite a significant difference to how the springs sit and ride between the two. |

I don't have Sierra weights, but according to my LJ80 FSM: its 740kg vs 785kg for LJ80-II Stockman; and 705kg vs 750kg for LJ80-I. So 45kg difference, I can't imagine an SJ having a very different difference. |
