Can anyone advise how to get the cable out and the new one into the same place it seems to go through ontop of the heater box area

any advice

tape the ends together from the old cable to the new cable and pull it through , tape it end to end , eg run a few pieces of tape along the cables then tape it together like you would with wiring . dont cheat either and run it somewhere else because the tight curves will cause premature cable breakage
