is it possable. ive got a set of belts here and want to put them in my trayback. they look like they will fit if i cut the hole. but just want to make sure there not another panel inside the pillar or something like that, that will make things hard for me

you are better off getting the universal ones designed to replace fixed belts (assuming they clear the seat base)

that part of the body is designed to have a retractable belt there in later ones, would be reinforced different

Hey mate iv got a 83 tintop sierra and I cut out the pillar put the retractable in no worries u might wana tack some nuts in side the pillar for bit more strength rather then screws

i did a thread here somewhere were i put retractable belts in my 85 lwb.
was a bolt in fit using wt parts however the cab may be different between full boded lwb and traybacks.
