Post subject:  gettin shakey

steering gets the shakes after 60k's and turning. at 30-40. =S
only started after wheeling the other week.
any ideas on what it could be??

Have you got dried mud caked inside the rims? Might need to pull them off to do a thorough check/clean. Otherwise search for 'death wobbles'. Lots of threads have covered this.

where do ya start? It's just normal Sierra steering isn't it? :lol:

wheel balance
king pin bearings
wheel bearings
shackle rubbers
loose U bolts
loose shackles

the list goes on!

PS. it's very common in Sierras and people have ongoing issues with wobbles.

AHH that could do it. ts a coily. and yeah stock steering.
first time through the mud. lol
