So im looking into getting some bigger wheels really soon, ive got a 3.5" lift but no body lift and the size that appeals most is a set of 31x10.5xR15's but i was wondering if people could say wat they have (size, rim and brand)and wat/if any mods were made to fit them. 
Oh and ive got a sierra

15x7 at -13 off set.. I've found king 7 speedy to be ok, any rim will buckle given a big enough hit... |

I've got 31x10.5R15 tyres on a 15x8 King wheels with a -23 offset. 2" Spring lift from Lovells Suspension, 30mm front bumpstop extensions, and some seam folding. Minor rubbing at full lock/flex |

The cheapest easiest and what seems to be most common is garden edging screwed into the guards. Some people also get stuff thats a bit tidier from Clark rubber that's a bit dearer. Then there's expensive options like jeep guards and other things. I went with garden edging. Cheap, easy, functional. |

Regardless of your 3.5" lift, you'll still need to cut the guards, add bumpstop spacers, add a body lift, or some combination of all three to run 31's. Spring lift alone is not sufficient. It might be enough for driving down the highway, but flex it up offroad and the 31's are going to hit the guards because the axles will still move up towards the body just as far as they could when the car wasn't lifted. You'll need to sort the gearing out too, look for some transfer gears as part of fitting 31's. Just some stuff to bear in mind. as for wider flares, the best flares available for 7" rims used to be carried by Doubleblack offroad: http://www.doubleblackoffroad.com/main.php - but they're not currently on their website. (They were "very similar" to Calmini flares but in a much better grade of urethane) Steve. |

Awesome offroad. In mud theyre pretty similar to the buckshots i had on my old pajero. On rock theyre heaps better than the buckshots. But either way 35 is waay high... |

the rims on our jimny are 15x8 -13, there 31x10.5R15 procomps, was running mickeythompsons before, liked them more but i thought id try these any way, i haven done gearing as of yet, but i do have a 1.6efi, which helps alot |
