hey guys had some work done to the carbi while ago and it came back with a miss just wondering where would be a good place in newcastle to get the carbi checked out cheers

Misfires are usually associated with the spark rather that the carby.

Id be starting the cr, and pulling a lead at a time off its plug, seeing if one of them makes no difference to the way the engine runs.
If you pull a plug lead from a working plug, the engine will run ruff and vibrate, if its pulled from a plug that isnt working, no change in engine characteristics.

IF you find this is the prob, then you must work out if its the dizzy cap, lead or plug.

Start with your spark plug's & work your way out, keep your plug's in order & post a pic...

Stecky, your 100% right, but, i always start with the first things first sort of thing.

In this instance, i suspect rich, but, electricals first.

Viewing the spark plug's will tell me lot's, hence asking for them to be in order ( as in 1,2,3,4 as they came out)......

If the carby just got done and nothing else, then id assume your miss is more of a lag,bog down or flatspot. Have more info?

sorry should of stated i have changed the leads ,plugs, dizzy cap and rotor button with no affect and its a bog down then i jumps back into life it wasn't doin it untill i got the work done on the carbi

Sounds like an accelerator pump issue

Or the vacuum advance line is on the wrong port of the carby...
