how you going fellas, the next thing i want for my beast is MORE FLEX i have found out that my shocks arnt all the best for how much my beast has being lifted (almost at full extention without flex) so i just need to ask a quick question on what shocks you guys recomend..

I WANT LONG TRAVELLING MOFO's.. i dont care if they dont get to reach its full potential on my leavs. but i want to know that my leasvs are flexing its guns to the max.. my current leaves are kingsprings with a 2 inch lift with ranchos shocks (dont know what model but there adjustable)

pull em off flex it up and measure your compressed length and extended length then you know how much travel you need

then find the shocks with that much travel and compare the compressed length with yours, if they are longer youll need custom mounts

yhe thats what we are going to do when the engine is in, my mechanic said he could remount my current shicks, about 4 inches lower.. or should i just get new shocks and remount them.. like said i dont car if i dont get to use the full potential of the shocks.. cus in the future ill be converting it to a coily and using the shocks

RS99112's worked well for us on the rear when we had the SPOA in our zook. Never had any problems compressed or extended but we also had them on the inner most mounting position on a Rocky Road custom shock mount.

We never had much joy on the front end though as we couldnt find a shock that gave us enough extended length while retaining good compression. If we had done the shock hoops conversion with an eye mount we would've had a lot more choice on which shocks we choose.

Just make sure that you dont end up with the shock as the bumpstop or you'll stuff your shocks and probably rip the mounts off the chassis. Allow for some compression of the bump stop too, don't use it's full height.
