First up, I did search! Couldn't find anything that really showed me how to fix this problem but if a link is brought up it's greatly appreciated But yeah, the question is in the subject, I want my 31's on, but I don't want the scrubbing on the springs, how do i fix this? EDIT: Forgot to add, I have an 85 Sierra with a 2" lift. |

You will need new wheels that have more negative offset. The ones you currently have place the wheels too close to the springs. |

No your TYRES are 31x10.5 R15LT's. Your wheels are what the tyre is mounted too. They need more negative offset. |

The workshop is directly below the master bedroom ( where the one with the PRICKLY demeanour sleeps), so midnight mods are a no-no |

I dunno about where you are SierraDan, but 31's on 8" rims suck the big one in Vic- the beads cop a caning from the ruts so leaky beads and tyres falling off become a nightmare. 7" rim is fine for a 10.5. Steve. |

the best thing you could do is to slap some wide track diffs under it. |

X2 or get slightly longer knuckle bolts and put a washer or two under them till it won't turn enough to touch the springs.... i did this on my WT tintop for 33s..... |
