Hey, quick question guys. My sister needs a new clutch for her '00 GV, I've recommended an Exceedy, but I haven't had any experience with one in a hydraulic GV. Has any one had any experience? Do they drive okay? |

Thanks Stek. She was umming are erring over whether to choose a STD or HD. I think I'll tell her to go for the standard. |

yeah h/d in the v6 engines in traffic they seem to get hot and become super duper hard to push in and a bitch to drive |

i just put a standard clutch in mine about a month ago. nice and soft....very nice to drive in traffic

While we are on the topic of GV clutches... is there a clutch that would be some where in between a STD, and HD clutch... as i go 4wheelin a fair amount, and the STD clutch in my GV is just about rooted, and will need replacing, but i am wondering if there is a clutch that is more robust than STD, but not as heavy as a HD ?

Ohhh... that may not be clutch, but oil dripping on it from your rear main seal... if you get a new clutch, get your rear main seal done as well, i know i will !
Just had another thought, because the GV clutch is hydraulic, you may have a punctured or leaking hydraulic line... hmmm... |

You can have them build to suit. Mine is part Suzuki, Alfa and Mitsubishi. Price will proley put you off. |
