G'day
Found this while doing Alternator research on the internet.
Has anyone used, seen or know about these?
They are a "one wire" alt.
Exactly the same size (dimensions) as my 70A stock Alt in me Jimny.

The one that takes my fancy is PN 8148 (XS-Volt reg) as you can play around with voltages, which may be a good thing to get the charge right for AGM/Gell batteries.

Some more info can be found here

That looks pretty well the same as the Denso unit I used, its also the same dimensions but it runs a 17mm shaft and is a bit deeper in the body, very happy with my swapover.

Yep!! :D
Still looking at the mod you came up with, as it's a easy alt to get hold of,
simple but tight fit etc.
I'm like the above more because of what you can do with it - it being adjustable for different battery types etc
