hey guys just finished my g16A conversion and noticed that it runs hoter than g13A (which i expected) but might be little too hot for a hot day on the beach, was wondering what you guys have done for extra cooling? the temp guage sits around half. cheers |

Half is fine I think Mine sits on 3/4 but I don't worry about it If u want extra cooling try a thermal fan Or a bigger radiator |

My g16a didnt run any hotter that my g13. Maybe get your cooling system checked and cleaned? |

yea got a thermo fan. i took it up a few tracks the other day and the temp didnt change at all, the ones on lowrange will they do the trick, |

did you put the 1300 temp sender into teh 1600? |

In both my coilies (1 is G13, 1 is G16) both guages sit in exactly the same spot (just under halfway) at operating temp. If I had just done a conversion the I would assume a different reading on the guage would be due to differences in thermostats or temperature senders. The stock Sierra radiator is easily big enough for a G16 if it is in good condition. |

ok i didnt realise that i should switch the temp sender unit, well in that case all should be good. |
