After multiple water crossings in my 1998 2.5 v6 grand vitara the air con compressor bearing sounds a bit dry and is very noisy. Has anyone had any dealings with changing a bearing/pulley? Is it expensive? Genuine or non genuine parts? Starting to annoy me as its getting louder and louder. |

The cheapest way would be to get a pully second hand,,, They use the same compressor as BB Jimny and Type 3 Baleno. The compressors are farly common to fail now days so there should be a pully or 2 floating around somewhere. |

Thank you for the advice. So is it possible to replace the pulley whilst the A/C compressor is still in the car or will i have to remove it??? |
