Nothing like an LSD

Its an auto locker. Its basicly a ratcheting spool. Think of a welded diff, but one that can unload at any time it sees fit to.

How much seat time have you got? Why do you feel you need a locker?

Good tyres and some controlled flex can get you just as far when you know how to pick your lines.

Lockers just help give forward traction. If your suspension doesn't work, and you can't select the right lines to take on a particular track, all lockers will do is get you further into shit that you should not be driving.

Focus on getting your suspension to work. And look at your gearing. These two things will be of far greater advantage to someone still learning their vehicle and how to approach a track.

Yes it does. Just take it easy on the road though, as it will increase your body roll through corners.

Maybe try removing a couple of leaves from your spring pack, this will help soften your springs and increase flex, from memory the calmini springs are quite stiff

not picking your line and having lockers can = very bad = eg flip roll over

always best to get the hang of things before locking ya SHI* up

auto in the rear is manageable, auto in the front is a pain in the arse. As Fatzook said, get your suspension flexing and get a feel for your car before you go sticking lockers in.

OR an air locker.

Post subject:  Re: Locktup4x4 lockright diff

weld rear, lockrite in the front, thats when yu feel you know how to drive...

I didnt like the lockrite in the rear and it banged and carried on and broke axles, may be different for others...
lockrite was great in the front untill i went an auto, than it was no good

i have weld rear and air front and id still go back to a lockrite in the front if i ever changed to manual gearbox. i just like the simplisity of it working when its needed, no compressor cycling or that thought of failure

up to you i guess but as said picking your line and taking a bit of time you will get thru some of the easier stuff unlocked, have lots of fun and challange yourself as well....
