Not exactly SCA branded light but I bought them from there. I got the 180mm Night Stalker. They're pretty good considering I only paid about $80 for them ;)

I use IPF that you purchase from your local nissan dealer :-) great light at a fraction of the cost if you purchased them off ARB or the likes..

They are not the same as what you purchase from ARB though.. Slightly different ... But at just a tad over half ghe price for a pair.. I can live with it

i got Navara ultima 225 on the D40 and on the jimny Narva 160/115 rectangle.

The Jimny Narvars give a better more even light and heaps of spread, i like them better than the Ultima 225s

Ironman supernova HID's. Got them on my d40, equally as good as hid lightforce xgt 240s. They are amazing. I will never go back to halogen. Will try out a LED lightbar on my Sierra though for something different.

Sierra currently has some cheap SCA lights, they are good for the price but they look like low beam next to HIDs. I would also consider the cheap HIDs on eBay, a patrol I go wheeling with has them and they are pretty impressive. Around $300-$400

I also have HID Spotties, they are stupidly bright I will also never go back to Halogens. I also run HID's in my headlights to make the light more even in colour when the spotties are on. I was meant to post photo's up a few month ago, but haven't got around to it. I will before the weekend. :)

i got a set of round SCA spotlights on my zook. They go alright for $50! (free cos i had a gift card :D )

obviously they arent going to be as bright/efficient/tough as a set that costs a few hundred but bang for buck they are spot on!

only problem i have it that you cant tighten them enough to spot them slowly aiming down after driving in heavy corrugations

I have recently come back from a trip to exmouth and i was in my bros 08 gv which has cibie oscars and they didn't miss a beat. We drove through the night so they were on for extended periods of time. 1200+ km trip

As a side note though it was the first time i've seen hids in action. As you would expect the highways in the middle of nowhere are pitch black but you certainly knew when you were approaching a car/truck with hid spot lights. The glow was unbelievable, it honestly felt like the approaching car was "just over the hill" like you get with normal spot lights but it lasted forever and when the approaching lights finally did pop over the crest and were dimmed the car/truck was still aaages away. Both me and my brother were very impressed and we didn't even have them fitted!!!

If i had money burning a hole in my pocket or used the vehicle in dark places at night constantly i'd definately go the hid's over halogen. Definately worth the jump in $$$$.

In my opinion anyway

Do what I did for my Dad... He had some huge Light Force 100W spotties and I bought a 55W 5000k HID kit from ebay and retrofitted them. Cost him $160 for the kit.
The HID kit is half the power so doesn't really run hot, but makes the stupidly expensive 100W LF setup look like a half flat yellow torch. They are really white and LOADS better in spread and distance. He loves them.
Bucket loads cheaper than buy the genuine Light Force HID setup.
But if you do this don't buy LF in the first place, just buy some mid-level spotty that won't leak water.

Mate I was in super crap the other day they had 20% of everything so I bought some cheap spotties. $32 for some spotties isn't bad in my opinion. Just buy a relay as the cheapies just go straight from a switch. Also remember that sierra's switch the earth on highbeam not switching power. Not hard to wire up if you have half an idea about wiring.

the sca ones work ok we have some on our little red beast. the money is in the r&d and then manufacture put into the reflectors, which you will never get with a cheap light.

i got the round one that are about $100 and they have a plastic housing, i had the $50 round ones on my old work ute and they have the metal housing. i chose the plastics ones this time because the metal ones started to rust pretty quick after i got them. the plastic ones seem to be better built and seem to be better sealed. i cant comment on light output because i'm getting a fair bit of voltage drop because i didnt have big enough wire but when i upgrade the wiring i'll let you know

NiteStalkers from SuperCrapAuto. Plastic bodied so no rusting, cheap enough that if it breaks or goes missing it's not too painful.
