Anyone know where to get replacement seals for the free-wheeling hub assembly? Looks like a large o-ring but with square edges. Mine are perished and are letting water through. Cheers Dan |

You should be able to take it into most bearing places and they will be able to find a quadring (square section o-ring) to match. Be pretty cheap, at work we have a $5 minimum if u want an invoice - iirc list price for quadrings would prob be less than $1 each lol |

Or almost any Japanese vehicle brand dealer. Aisin hubs weren't just used on Suzukis, you'll find them on vehicles from Toyota, Isuzu, Daihatsu, Mazda and Holden. The inner and outer gaskets are the same too. The Aisin cap and body is the same across many models, it's just the spline count and shaft size in the inner dog that is different. All the springs, clips and seals will be the same as the hubs used on Suzukis. I don't have a Suzuki dealership near me, so I go into the local Toyota/Holden dealership for hub gaskets. They have them in stock @ $1 for the outer cap gasket and $1.25 for the hub to FWH body gasket. I'm sure you could find the O-ring there too. I'll trip down there in the morning and get a price and part number. |

Well, that wasn't as cheap as I expected. The seal from Toyota is $6.85inc. Part number is 43582-60010. It may be cheaper as suggested to find a quadring from a bearing supply place. Don't dismiss Toyota completely though. They list more individual components for the Aisin hub than Suzuki do, and it would be cheaper to replace a danaged clip or spring than to find a complete hub. The gaskets are cheaper than Suzuki. |
