I was drivin along the highway today on my trip up north an my clutch. Slipped twice goin up hill 5th gear but then drove fine for the next 1.5 hours an fine around airlee beach I am fully loaded up with a roof bag on to 2 I guessing my clutch is sad or on the way outhow much should a mechanic charge to put a clutch in I got a wt with 1.6b efi Sierra gearbox an Clutch |

Do you rest your foot on the peddle while driving??? Have you looked at the cable?? |

I know a mechanic, he's extraordinarily good looking & work's out of his shed, if you want it looked at, pm him... Ps, check your clutch free play... |

Back on topic, if you rear main seal is leaking on to you clutch assembly, you will get slippage at speed/loaded. |

Iv got a clutch problem aswell, i let it out but it onpy bites with about 1cm left in it. Is it fooked or just adjustment? |

How did you go stiky.....???? I'm in Airlie beach if ya need a hand. I'm el bodgerino but I know who's good value locally. 0411 471 078 Cozza. Best mechanic local is Dyson automotive at Jubilee pocket. If you could get to townsville you'd be better off as Airlie is the biggest rip off on the east coast. |
