Where is the best place(cheapest) to get a starter motor for a 1.3 sierra and how much would one cost?

Cheers
Mike

Can you get just the solenoid from anywhere cheaper, or another model eg.swift solenoid that fits?

i think the 1.3 swifts are a different starter alltogether? Quote me if im wrong. When my starter snapped the ratchet type shaft i found another started motor out of a 95 or earlier lancer if that helps, May be cheaper?..
My sierra starter is a Mitsubishi Brand, Where as swifts had another like Bosch or Denso or sumthing, cant remember.

Hope it helps dude!

its hard to get anything for suzukis here and i'm stuggling to just find the whole starter motor, so far the only place here i can find one is repco and don't get me to started on repco :x
first they told me suzuki didn't make a 1.3 litre sierra in 1990 and they didn't believe me when i said i had one then when getting a price on a starter motor one minute it ws $210 and they had one then it was $350 and they would have to order one from bosch

Go directly to your Automotive electrical supplier thats what I did cut out the middle guys adding on their price in between. From the problems I had when getting a starter motor the different costs and prices came from the fact that I think the 1.6 starter also fits as well but its a longer motor where as the Sierra one is shorter.

I have been given these two part numbers that fit both 1.3 and 1.6 when trying to sort out mine they both fit.

1300 part number M3T38981 or 31100-83010 - What I have in mine now, which is a 92 model Sierra. I went straight to
1600 part number M1T72481 or 31100-60A20

do you know what brands these part numbers correspond with?

Revolution Race gear I think.... Re manufactured stuff, either way parts shops have cross reference to check those part numbers are easy enough to look up.
