I'll be doing the 3inch efs lift kit on the Sierra after my 1.6 install. I know I'll have to look into extended brakelines. Now in regards to the height will there be any more problems with tailshaft length etc?

When my brother did a 3inch in his hilux he had to extend his tailshaft I think. Just wondering if there will be any hassles otherwise I'll just do the 2inch.

3" is said to be too harsh on a sierra because of the short springs.

If you want to go to that you may want to consider hilux springs, longer, softer, better.

There's no good reason to lift a sierra 3". They don't ride properly or travel with this much spring lift.

2" is plenty to provide sufficient compression travel to improve ride quality.

Driveshaft lengths will be fine. If the shocks fit in the stock mounts without bumpstop spacing it probably won't even be necessary to do brake lines, although it's worth checking.

Ok it's just that I got a wicked price for a 3inch efs. I guess I'll just stick with the 2inch. I'll be using the Sierra as a daily and then after I get my landcruiser the sierra will retire to my main 4wding/camping/fun rig. I guess 3inch is just wanky.

Not wanky at all, just with stock length spring, no good.

I hope soon to be able to do a bigger lift than that, but it will be with a lot longer springs.
