you will want to do gearing with 31s

You'll also need a body lift, guard work or bumpstop spacers to run 31s without scrubbing...

I've got 31's, 2" spring lift and 30mm bumpstop spacer on the front. No scrubbing. I've got a 1ltr transfer swell to counter the gearing. Not the best option but goes great in the bush!

IMO 31s are well worth the bit of effort to make them work well, but, your in Qld, better check on what you can do, far as I know, a 2" lift is max.

Nope, thats not correct. we have some rules about bumpstop spacing and shock lengths.

the biggest issue will be that 31s are illegal as a size on a zook in QLD.

legally you can only go to a tires 15mm over standard size

Would it pass a roadworthy with larger tyres?

I only ask because mine came with a roady and 29's which until I read enough on here I thought were stock (looks right because of suspension lift and body lift) and I'm beginning to think the bloke that roadworthy'd it was dodgy...

It shouldnt have passed.. But there are alot of places out there that dont know the rules at all.
Is your body lift all legit with QLD transport?

Hell my jimny was passed with a slipping clutch, leaking rear main and heaps of play in the king pin bearings.

I have NFI, but I'm not going to drive in and ask them till the truck is all fixed up, what do you have to do to get it legit?
