| Post subject: | Pro Comp lift? |
Hi guys- I'm trying to research what suspension my newly aquired zook has, and I've found that it is infact the now discontinued pro comp lift kit. I've emailed pro comp however they just sent me installation instructions which weren't very helpful, except to tell me that the lift wasn't just longer coils and shocks.. rather an extensive kit really. Has anyone had any experience with the suspension system? Good/bad etc? And how it compares to a similar product such as the Calmini lift? Any feedback is appreciated.. FYI the car is an 89 Vitara soft top |

Well, in total I have been told the car has been lifted about 4", but I dont know, I haven't taken delivery of the car yet. The instructions tell me 2.5", but considering that the front subframe has been dropped and likewise for the rear diff, I'd imagine even longer coils could be added if i wanted to (as there is still ample droop). There are some pictures in the introduction forum but I'll post some here of the car (I dont have any suspension shots, these are purely from the ad). The front has a secondary shock absorber per strut for some reason (it was part of the kit).. its a pretty odd setup but it looks cool.
