G'day all, Has Any-one tried these Roadstone A/T Neo's http://www.ityre.com/en/tyres/catalog/n ... odel/4965/ Hope the link works, sorry if it doesnt. I was quoted a Dang Good price on them! I guess like most people I'm TRYING to a budget. But "just because it cheap doesnt mean you need it!" Thanks Bob. |

mate check out 'nan kang - wide conquerors' ive got them in 215/75 and theyre pretty damn good. surprisingly chunky for an a/t, they go hard in mud and extremely well on rocks. on road they make a little bit of hum, not excessive tho. and grip really well in the wet best of all is the price |

$145.00 was the Price to beat ! but 'nan kang - wide conquerors' & the 'road venture at kl78' looks like a better tread ! The nan kang looks a little more CHUNKY , I like it ! I will look into the cost & availability in Orange tomorrow. |

if you want chunky kumho make the KL71 in your size as well, as do BFG with KM2's however you wont like the price of BFG =) |

Yes Alien I was hooked on the BFG but $ ! Kumho kl71 They just Rock ! at H-Way speed they rock just a bit too Much. there must be Something in the middle of A/T & M/T . Worst thing I need 5 tyres so it's easy to spend Heaps that just isn't in the budget. |

i run 31" KL71 on my zuk and theyre brilliant on the highway, even wet roads they grip on hard corners where usually a muddy would see my flying into the next lane. my uncle has 215/75 BFG KM2 on his jimny and that drives great on the road and goes everywhere offroad too. the chunkier tread pattern in a smaller size is still quite closed up, so his 215/75 KM2 next to my 31" KM2s (i have them as well) look much less aggressive. I can get nearly 2 fingers between the side lugs on mine, and on his only 1 finger as the pattern is more closed up. what terrain do you drive? |

I've got a mate running these on his X-trail, he obviously doesn't do a lot of hard off road, but he's on the beach a lot, and it's his daily driver. For what it's worth, he's gotten a good 15 000 out of them so far, and only lost about 30 percent. |

Hankook Dynapro M/T's are another option. I saw the tread pattern on these in a tyre distribution centre I work at sometimes and the tread pattern is very impressive. Price would be comparable to Kumho's http://www.fourwheeler.com/techarticles ... to_01.html |
