Heat it up with a hair dryer and peel it off, you may have to then remove the glue residue with some thinners or something |

Yeah works a treat, but if you push to hard you can take the the paint off, Use a a heat gun first, and the rubber wheel for the second option thats what I would do Good luck |

hair dryer then glue remover or wax and grease remover oh and lots of elbow grease . done this on 2 cars now and its not fun getting all the sticky stuff off. I gave mine a cut and polish to help blend the paint from sun discolouration. |

Thanks guys,,, I dont have a heat gun and was a little worried about burning the paint so I gave Kettle a boil and was happy that I wouldnt be heating the paint more than 100deg, grabbed a plastic spatch for plaster (left over from home renno) and slowly pored the water and scraped the sticker off. The pain in the ars is definatly the glue. I had no store bought remover so went for a few other opt, tried some of the citrus based removers and didn't seem to budge it so tried eucalyptus oil (had it lying around from kids vapouriser) and found it to be awsome as glue lifted straight off! Now just needs a buff, oh yeah the Gay looking Barbie Vit is starting to look like a real 4x4 |

I got all my pin striping off with a heat gun and a bit of turps, but the residue from the 'suzuki' on the tailgate ain't budging. Are any of these options better than turps? |

I've found the trick is to heat the decal only enough to make it a bit soft. to much heat causes the sticky backing to separate and stay on your paint. hard part is just doing it slowly . with the right heat and pull pressure you should get most off on one piece and very little residue. then I carefully use thinners to remove the residue and dull the piant underneath a bit |
