I get 9/100km in a swb with 235's, some get 12's

100000 to 300000 depending on how its looked after and driven, I have 230000 with no oil use at all

lots of suspension upgrades, few engine upgrades that are dear, bugger all accesories due to age, most people make their own

not common by any length but if they rust its in the bottom of the chassis rails under the footwells, some also suffer loss of power from the bottom pulley bolt working loose but its pretty hard to check without pulling it apart

average fuel consumption

8 to 10 L per 100, depends how you drive it.

expected engine life

My Carby G16B has 220,000 no oil use heeps of grunt.

availabilty of parts and upgrades for lift, engine, and accesories

No problems here heaps of accessories & parts avalible.

common problems and things to look out for before buying?

Oil seals front & rear leaking due to blow back, this can be because the breather on top of the rocker cover is blocked with crap.

Rust in foot wells & under drivers seat where jack is, mainly on soft tops.

Cracked exhaust manifold very common but not detrimental.

Over all great little 4WD and more compfy than a Sierra. Good on fuel and very capable off road & on the beach. Cheap parts and lots of fun..

BUY ONE NOW!

My 93 is great..

I get around the 8-10litre per 100k's.. Highway Speed :110kph @3600rpm

Acceleration whilst not being sporty, is not exactly slow either.
It wont win you any street light drags..

Driving in High wind can be a tad discomforting.. but is to be expected since your driving around in a car with a HUGE side profile and narrow wheel base..

310.000k's is a Little High.. I would be checking the usual stuff like timing belts and service intervals..
If it has been regularly serviced, then I would expect a major rebuild at the 360.000k point..

How much you are paying will be the deal clencher...

I know there are a few around the $3000-4500 price point with lower k's then 310.000k's
