Ok, so I'm just on my way back from looking at the second zook I've seen on eBay and it was a total piece of shit!! He was asking $3500 for it and well, it needs at least 2 grand spent on it; blown head gasket, exhaust leak, floor rusted through, bent door, surface rust on tailgate, dodge alternator, loose bearings, bent springs. The one we looked at last weekend had firewall rust but wasn't too bad.

So where are all the zooks for sale in Sydney that aren't completely shit?? Don't mind some panel damage and something that needs a bit of work but...not a complete overhaul!!

Hey, Nagz is selling my old Zook which was probably of the cleanest Sierra's getting around when I sold it to him a couple of months ago. Give him a pm, but he's asking a fair whack more than $3500 for it

i just bought a 97 model vit for the missus. she wanted a convertible swb. i searched high and low up here in mackay and all the way down to brisbane. ended up flying to sydney to look at one but the bloke sold it just before i landed!! i then found one in wollongong and got a lift down there.
paid $4750 for it and drove it back. but if i didnt get that one, i was flying back up here. there was nothing else down there or up here!!!

I'm looking at another tomorrow which is supposedly clean. Little bit of rust in sills and floor but I'm fine with that.

Rego and within my budget. SPOA with spare spua diffs and 31s.

Might FINALLY look at something worthwhile and walk away with a Sierra!!!

Asking way out of my league but understandably. I'd feel bad taking it off road!!
