When I drive to work in the morning it's dark and cold, so I have the headlights on and heater on also. Problem is, when I also have music blasting the stereo automatically turns off when the car's RPM goes down to idle. I can only solve this if I back off the volume or turn off something else.

Why is this so? Battery, alternator or wiring?

Check volts on battery, how old is it? Possibly alt...doubt it is the wiring. For shits and giggles check all your earths.

take fused at the battery power for the radio, fixed...
had the same thing yr's ago with a Ke55 rolla.....

What RPM does the motor run at with all that going?
The carby should have a idle up solenoid that pulls the throttle on abit when the Fan of lights are turned on. Just adjust the screw so it idles abit higher with the headlights on.

From memory the adjustment is on the front (radiator end) of the carby. Just get someone to turn the headlights on and off with the motor running and you will soon see the bit im talking about moving in and out (if its working)
