Hey guys about to embark on a lux diff conversion on the missus's comp zook wanting to coil the rear anyone got any advice on the best setup I thinking a 3 link with panhard? Gunna stay with leaves in the front cause the zooks running a Holden 253 v8 has anyone put Ifs Lux leaves in a Zook how hard is it? |

Make sure you retain enough roll stiffness in the rear. 3 links have no roll stiffness inherently and that will turn that 253 into a huge pendulum once the front goes light. That's why my rear end is radius arm at the moment - doesn't have hektic flex, but it doesn't axlewrap or hop and makes the front springs work due to the roll stiffness. Steve. |

I'd go triangulated 4 link for the rear. Forget the panhard. |

I have ome 40mm lux fronts in mine. I used these, because i wanted to keep the chassis extension as small as possible, and push the diff way forward. the frame was cut right behind the radiator mounts and extended about 250mm past stock.

wht about a rear Prado diff? is not the same as the hilux?.. with the adding that already comes with the coil setup |
