Ok building a buggy for Tuff Truck dropping the 1.6 into a 92 sierra and want to run the stronger vitara 5spd. Dose anyone make an adaptor to remove the vitara transfercase and just run the divorced sierra one Duncan |

check out JML Gear in the business directory, joeblow has a similar set up to whats available from locktup for the auto, not sure how much work it would be to adapt to a manual. http://www.auszookers.com/index.php?nam ... ic&t=20147 |

You don't need any of these for manual transmissions, they have a sealed and supported output. still give the cash if you like though |

So if I drop the vitara transfercase of then the jack shaft is the same size and spline count as the out put of the vitara 5spd that would be cool. |

This is the back of the 5sp. Just drop the transfer off and shove the jack shaft up its arse

In the pic I posted, that hole supports a shaft from the transfercase. I have left the front of the transfer on there so that I can run the seal (sits around the splined shaft and slip yoke of a jackshaft) The hole at the bottom just needs to have a welch plug tapped in to seal it |
