My current 1.3 5 speed is pretty well shagged. So I figure if im going for a replacement I may as well fit a vitara box well the body is off to make it easier. My G16B already had the 1.3 box fitted when i purchased it.
Will i still be able to run the current clutch and flywheel?
Looking at the benT kit, it comes with replacement mounting studs. Im guessing these will have tobe replaced with standard units?
And are tunnel mods needed with a 2 inch body lift?

No, starter won't engage the flying wheel.
Why do you need a BenT kit to fit a vit box to a vit eng????

It has a Ben t kit on it... meaning the vit box probally won't bolt on with the bent studs.

No it won't. Thats what bolt shops are for
You may still need a bit of tunnel mods with the vit box. Even with the BL fitted......

Ah yer figured that was the case..
Don't mind doing minor tunnel mods, as long as i don't have to reshape the whole thing. Now to see if i can find a flywheel that isnt bolted to an engine

Shouldn't be too hard. There are plenty of dead G16's out there
