did u know that EXEDY clutches make 2 Heavy Duty clutches for a 1995 SJ70 Sierra.

they make 2 due to the sierra either having a resessed fly wheel or flat one and either 18 or 20 spline on the gearbox and theres no outside evidence of which one your sierra has.

they have two different
1. SZK-6474HD Size, Spline OD & No. of Teeth 190 x 22.4 x 20
Flywheel Profile: -2.1mm
2. SZK-6293HD Size, Spline OD & No. of Teeth 190 x 19.1 x 18
Flywheel Profile: Flat

and a button clutch, SZK-6293HDB Size, Spline OD & No. of Teeth 190 x 19.1 x 18
Flywheel Profile: Flat

all spigot bearings are 6000


so make sure u check which one u have before going to buy one so u dont get the wrong one. :helloo:

No but can you put the fact that this is clutch info in the thread title? Will make it a bit easier when I forget this fact and go to search for it in the future!

Was shit in mine. Snapped cables.

They are a great clutch, but IMO better suited to vehicles with a slave cyl.

Unless im super lucky but I've had 2 of these clutches now and no issues what so ever! Nice pedal feel and very controllable 8)

Don't know what yours was but my hd clutch from them is really lite and hooks up awesome. Handles good up with No slip. Mine had the pink pressure plate.

If you ever see a recessed 1.3 flywheel, have a real good look cause you'll probably never see another one.
None of the 40 odd Sierras of various years I've wrecked have had one.

Ok what is with the 18 or 20 spline gearbox input shaft he is talking about, aren't all 1300's 20 spline and LJ's + 1 Litres 18 spline

Thats what I was told by the machine bloke. But he said to always check as at some point it might of been changed over for what ever reason.
He also charges more to machine the flywheels with the step.

I dunno about that... :? I've wrecked a heap of NT's and never seen one...

Only recessed flywheel I've seen in Suzuki is one litre and swift.

Exedy dont even list a flat flywheel clutch for SJ50

The flat 18 spline are the rare ones for 1.3, Losfer even says he has never seen one, mine had it though :(

All of the Sierras have them here. I think we ended up with what you wold call a wide track after 1986. They all came out with carbed 1.3 and the stepped flywheel until 91 when they went injection , but still stepped.
