ok on the trip to nsw my zook started to have a shit idle, i put it down to blow h/g. but no. at idle it sounds like it has lumpy cams (it dosnt) cam timing is perfect. i just swapped to spare afm and tps checked for vac leaksthere are none, and cracks in inlet also none.. computer gives no codes. i am lost... any ideas? |

oh also as soon as i bring it off idle it runs smooth as. its just at actual idle 1000rpm that it has issues. i have had to up the idle from 800rpm as it used to just stall out there all the time. |

they are a manual screw type. not much can go wrong. |

Whats cold idle speed controlled by? Doesn't it have an idle air bypass valve? |

yeah it has a cold idle valve that has a thermostat style set up in it. its not the cold start as it does it all the time. |

How did you check for vacuum leaks? Have you checked the brake booster? Still sounds like a vacuum leak to me |

Yea or air bypassing the throttle body butterfly. |
