ok on the trip to nsw my zook started to have a shit idle, i put it down to blow h/g. but no.
at idle it sounds like it has lumpy cams (it dosnt)
cam timing is perfect.
i just swapped to spare afm and tps
checked for vac leaksthere are none, and cracks in inlet also none..
computer gives no codes.
i am lost...
any ideas?

oh also as soon as i bring it off idle it runs smooth as. its just at actual idle 1000rpm that it has issues. i have had to up the idle from 800rpm as it used to just stall out there all the time.

yeah it has a cold idle valve that has a thermostat style set up in it. its not the cold start as it does it all the time.

How did you check for vacuum leaks? Have you checked the brake booster? Still sounds like a vacuum leak to me
