hi guys
i just got a quote from my local exhaust shop for my jimny,
for a full system inc extractors sports system, custom and all stainless steel, i got quoted 1300.

just wondering if this price is worth what i am getting.

help will be appreciated thank you.

i got qouted 735 with fitting for extracots and an exhaust system just 3 weeks ago from my local place. dont think it was stainless, but still 1300 to me seems steep...

Not sure about the price, But being an M series engine make sure the extractors have the EGR pipe bit on them, if it doesn't check engine light will be on. You can get extractors with and without the pipe added on.

I had to add my own pipe on :? But i got my extractors for around $370 then did the rest of the exhaust (with flexy exhaust joint thing) for about $220 not including a new cat, cus my car is only a year old, also from what i read there is no need for a new cat on a natural aspirated 4 cylinder, so that will save you a heap of $$ if you use the OME cat :wink:

Local joint here does Wildcats for $300 supply. Not the cheapest around i guess, Only 2 types, mild steel, g13bb (Number 711) and m13a(Number 294) The m13a had the egr pipe welded in.
