Having a little issue with a non zook car but I was wondering what the difference is between these 3 coils. BOSCH SU12, SU12R and GT40R |

The last 2 are resistor style coils.. Apart from that... No idea.. What does a google search bring up? |

SU12 is a stock replacement type, GT40 is the sporty version |

4AGE AE82 corolla It was working last week, but now it aint. After seeing the state of the distributor cap I thought by replacing it would definitly fix it. Basically it was missing two electrodes in it. This car has been fucked arount with that much it could be a number of things, so my process of elimination so far is, dizzy cap, rotor button, Next is Coil, fuel filter, fuel pump. Any thoughts? |

I wouldn't think a 4age would use any of those coils, but they will still work an engine that isn't working needs no process of elimination, it needs to determine which of the basic 3 things an engine needs (fuel, spark, compression) isn't there and then figure out why |

The battery is on charge tonight so I'll check for spark tommorow night but whats a good way to test the fuel pump? |

Test with a pressure gauge. |
