if you think it isnt reading right rip it out and take it to a instrument repair mob and they will sort it out and calibrate it (hint get bigger tyres now and have it calibrated to suit) for less money that getting one from a wreckers |

had plenty repaired through work but not adjusted to suit tires but I guess if you could tell em how many turns per KM on speedo they could though perhaps they would only be able to tweak the speed not the odo cause tis a geared link cant remember how much, over 10 years ago now |

I think the internal Gearing might have been shaken loose.. we were doing some pretty stressful stuff today and it is Definately in the speedo area as the cable is Still working.. Just making a Nasty noise like its jumped a Gear or smashed one inside the speedo housing itself. I am thinking if I can get a Digital Speedo then I wouldnt have to worry about replacing the Analogue one.. How the hell do you rip one out? Any one got a link to the Relevant instructions? |
