Hey guys, so after 9 months i finally have my swift gti conversion running, albeit like a dog but it runs. I have a question regarding thr throttle body. There is a major air leak in what appears to be the seals for the butterfly. I was just wondering if anyone had ever seen this issue before or knows if they can be changed ?
thanks heaps

Coz if you spray carby cleaner in around the throttle body it picks up and responds. I think I've fixed the air leak from the throttle body but it still rubs like a pig at idle. It has a small leak fro
the extractor flange gasket so that can't be helping. How do I tell if it's the cold idle valve ?
There is still a leak in the throttle body but I disconnected the afm while it was running yesterday and it didn't change ? Do they give much trouble ?? If it was disconnected while it was running it should change the running characteristics ??
